The Peaceday Youth Assembly is an annual event taking place September 21 in connection with the UN’s International Day of Peace.
The initiative is led by young change-makers from different cultures, who are stepping up to address the impending global issues and discuss how we can collaborate across borders to accelerate implementation of the SDG’s

This year 250 students and change makers from different countries and organisations came together on Youth Island – a former sea fortress located in the strait between Denmark and Sweden, outside the UN-City in Copenhagen.
Through a series of workshops they focused on how we can gain inner strength, make our voices heard and become actively engaged in shaping a future that works for all.

The day concluded with a concert linked to more than 200 simultaneous concerts across the planet celebrating Peace Hope and Togetherness. Click here to learn more about this compelling initiative.
As a special contribution to the global Sky Concert we arranged a Music in Space performance on Youth Island with the Danish artist Bjorn Video
Music in Space is a multi-artistic event, played live in a mix of the original music from Bjorn, local artists and supported by powerful speeches of hope and optimism – Transmitted live into Space.
